Sermon 1427 - Blessed - 6th Message…..(Sun am 3/31/96)
$5.00(Palm Sunday) The Gospels of Luke, Matthew, and Mark show a progression of events, beginning with a bawrak blessing which the people gave when they blessed the Name of the Lord at the time of Jesus’ triumphant entry. He wept over Jerusalem; then He went into the Temple and cleansed it by casting out the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

Sermon 1428 - Blessed - 7th Message…..(Sun pm 3/31/96)
$5.00Mark 11:20,21: This message continues the lesson on the blesseds and deals with roots. The fig tree that Jesus cursed dried up by the roots. The meaning of roots is given in this sermon. One meaning is bottom of the sea. Job 36:27-30 shows how the storm clouds draw “root water” from the bottom of the sea, which becomes rain. Learn More -
Sermon 1429 - Blessed - 8th Message…..(Wed pm 4/3/96)
$5.00This is a continuation of the lesson about the bawrak blessing the people gave at Jesus’ Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem. After visiting the Temple and seeing His people, Israel, His Spiritual Fig Tree, and their unfruitfulness, He went to Bethany for the night. The next day Jesus saw the unfruitful, natural fig tree and cursed it because it had not the fruit to satisfy His hunger.

Sermon 1430 - Earthquakes…..(Sun am 4/7/96)
$5.00(Easter Sunday) Matthew, chapters 27 and 28, show two major earthquakes. One earthquake occurred when the Crucified Christ died, and the earth quaked again when the Resurrected Christ arose from the tomb. Jesus Christ is the Tree of Life. The Roots of His Tree relate to the Crucified Christ or Death, and the Branches and Fruit of His Tree pertain to the Resurrected Christ or Life. Learn More -
Sermon 1431 - The City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will, Our Inner City - 7th Message…..(Fri pm 3/22/96)
$5.00This message deals with the first class of hardness (kawshaw) as God revealed it to Hannah in the first chapter of First Samuel. The Stature of Truth concerning Hannah’s experience includes the following points: (I) Barren (The LORD Was Her Adversary in the Spiritual Realm); (II) Adversary in Natural Realm (Peninnah Provoked Her); (III) Bitter (Hannah Did Pawlal Praying); and (IV) Misunderstood (Eli Thought She Was Drunk).

Sermon 1432 - City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will - 8th Message…..(Fri pm 4/19/96)
$5.00This lesson deals with the three levels of hardness in the human will. Genesis, chapter thirty-five, gives an example of how God uses converted hardness. When Rachel travailed with hard (kaw-shaw) labour, she brought forth Benjamin. The tribe of Benjamin encamped on the west side of the Tabernacle, in the Head-realm of the Stature of Christ, under the insignia of an ox. Christ’s Ox Nature allows one to “plow” the fallow ground of one’s own heart and mind, as well as “plowing” in the minds of others, so that Living Seeds of Truth may take root and grow.

Sermon 1433A - City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will our Inner City - 9th Message…..(Sun am 4/21/96)
$5.00First Samuel, Chapters five and six, shows how the LORD’s Hard (Kawshaw) Hand dealt with idolatry, even among the heathen. The Philistines captured the Ark of God and carried it back to their land and put it in the temple with their false god, Dagon. Dagon is a picture of perversion because this idol was fashioned into an unnatural joining of man, who was made in the Image of God, and a fish, which never was made in the Image of God.

Sermon 1433B - Question…..(Sun pm 4/21/96)
$5.00This was a question about Mark 7:21-23. Since we already are defiled within (as noted by verses 21 and 22), why does verse 23 say that “all these evil things come from within and defile man”? It seems as if there is a double defilement. In answering this question, Reverend Hicks went through all sixteen minds, giving the sinful order and the perfect order. Learn More -
Sermon 1434 - Guilt and Conviction - 1st Message…..(Wed pm 4/24/96)
$5.00This message shows the difference between guilt and the Conviction one feels from God’s Holy Spirit. Guilt (aw-sham) means faults, offenses, sins, trespasses, and errors. In order to exonerate ourself from guilt, our self-deception makes wrathful accusations against others. Our diseased perception of reality, then, makes an apologetic confession, saying, “I did it, but I had a special set of circumstances.

Sermon 1435 - Guilt and Conviction - 2nd Message…..(Fri pm 4/26/96)
$5.00By using the example of a tree, this lesson continues explaining how guilt and conviction work in our life. We confess the “fruit” of our guilt, but God wants us to get down to the “branches” and the “root” of our sin as the Holy Ghost convicts us. Adam-male made apologetic confession, saying, “I did it, but it really was not my fault.” Adam-male blamed God, and he blamed his wife. Learn More -
Sermon 1436 - City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will - 10th Message…..(Sun am 4/28/96)
$5.00This message first deals with more about guilt and conviction and how God works on the three realms of our will. Our sin has “roots,” “branches,” and “fruit.” We confess the “fruit” — the "do,” but we need the Holy Ghost to show us the “root” — the “will.” God is the One Who works the “will” and the “do” in us. The lesson also gives more on the first level of hardness or kaw-shaw. Examples of the good side of the LORD’s Hard Hand are found in Exodus and in the Song of Solomon. We have inherited the “not” from man’s original sin in the Garden.

Sermon 1437 - City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will - 11th Message…..(Sun pm 4/28/96)
$5.00This lesson deals with Second Kings, chapter two, and tells about Elisha’s determination to stay with Elijah as he went from Gilgal, to Bethel, to Jericho, and to Jordan. Sermon 1438 - City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will - 12th Message…..(Wed pm 5/1/96)
$5.00All three layers of hardness in our will have a good side and an evil side. The first layer of hardness, identified by the Hebrew word kaw-shaw, is the layer which is pliable enough to receive impressions. The second layer of hardness, khawzak, is like an iron basket in that it receives and holds the impressions that are fed to it from the kawshaw level of the will. The third layer of hardness, kawbade, is where Eternal imprints are made.

Sermon 1439 - City of Pride in Our Unconscious Will - 13th Message…..(Fri pm 5/3/96)
$5.00This lesson deals with the second layer of hardness (khawzak), both its good side and its bad side. The story of Gideon and his 300 men, in Judges, chapters seven, verse eight, illustrates the good side of hardness. Gideon retained (khawzak) his 300 men. In verse twenty, the 300 men blew their trumpets, broke their pitchers, and held (khawzak) their lamps in their left hands.
