This message explains why the rich man missed the Prize, Mount Zion. Those who go to Mount Zion must be in love with just the Name — LORD Jesus Christ. Instead of being in love with the Name, the rich man was in love with the gifts that come with the Name. He had a title. He was clothed in purple and fine Linen, and he fared sumptuously every day. This message answers the following question: Once I have begun to grow spiritually, how can I continue to grow? God’s natural creation types His spiritual creation. So in order for our spiritual Seed of Truth to send a root downward, it has to be planted in the right place, which is underground as it were, in the “Out-Pasture,” with the Crucified Christ (John, chapter ten). In order to bring forth fruit, our little “plant” has to ascend upward into the “In-Pasture” with the Resurrected Christ. (International Summer Convention) When God allows us to be weak and pushed down by adversaries, His Reason is to prove that He is the One Who is strong. If we are down, then everyone can see Jesus, and we can have gratitude for His help. When man flipped his will or turned it upside down with his choice in the Garden, his will became founded on self-satisfaction. God meant for us to walk by His Master Plan or Will of Revelation; then, His Master Plan in our lives will carry out His Redemptive Will or His Purposive Will.
