(Training Convention) Reverend Hanssen took his text from Mark 14:50:52,and showed that the man, here in these verses, was clothed with his righteous deeds. Beneath his outward works, represented by his linen, he was naked. He had not been faithful to apply the Blood and Fire so that he would be clothed beneath his outer cloth of linen. (Training Convention, Teacher Dedication) This service was the dedication of the teachers for the coming year. Reverend Hicks spoke briefly on Romans10:15, which describes the feet of those who preach the Gospel. First we are to preach the Gospel of Peace, whose purpose is reconciliation to God and to man. We must find peace with God’s Headship and His Master Plan and Purposive Will in our life. Reverend Hanssen used the example of the Prophet Ezekiel, to prove that God will help us do the humanly impossible things that He asks us to do. God’s Invisible Bands of Glory will hold us down so that we can fulfill God’s Will for us. Commitments we make to God, when we are in the Spirit, He remembers and, therefore, helps us past the weakness of our flesh when we are not able to choose rightly for ourself. Learn More

Reverend Hanssen returned to the Book of Ezekiel to show how God’s Will is done in Heaven. Learning this will help us to know how to do His Will on Earth. First, we are to leave His Presence with delight over what He has revealed for us to do in His Will. Learn More

The first part of this message was taught by Reverend Hanssen during the Teachers Training Convention. He posed the question, “What are We Doing Here,” which he directed to preachers and teachers who have probably asked themselves this question many times. The answer is that we are where we are, doing what we are doing, to fulfill God’s Will for us. We must seek God’s Acceptance and Approval for ourselves. Learn More

Matthew 11:28-30. This lesson continues on the Devil side of Lucifer’s fallen nature and covers “Tearing down the Devil’s Kingdom.” When we lose our humility, we lose our reflecting power. We are like a mirror. We can reflect only what is in the mirror. The front part of the mirror represents Meekness. In the back of this mirror is an invisible Cross of Humility, which we have to get from God through Christ. When we keep an attitude of Humility before God, reflecting that He is the Head and that He is Righteous and Just and Holy and that He makes all things work together for good, the front part of our mirror is able to show meekness toward man. Revelation 17:14. The Bride of Jesus Christ is called, chosen, and faithful. We already have been called, so there is nothing wrong with our calling. We already have been chosen to hear this Message, and we have been listening to it. Now, we are in the third phase, which is the faithful phase. This lesson completes the Seal of God’s Work of Redemption of our tongue. The Devil is the “tongue part” of the stature of fallen Lucifer. The first three points of the Seal are reviewed and they are as follows: (1) Answer of the tongue — God works in our Worker Heart, (2) Bridle — conquers human tongue and (3) Educates our tongue. The lesson then covers the last three points which are as follows: (4) No deceit — Zephaniah 3:13,14; (To have no deceit in our tongue we need to feed, rest, have no fear, and sing.); (5) Popular with 10 men — Zechariah 8:23 (When we go on for God, others will follow us.); (6) Holy Ghost Tongue to bridle and refrain our tongue. We must determine “whose report we will believe” — the LORD’s or the Devil’s. The Devil’s tongue lies. Another meaning of Malsheen, the Devil’s name, is perverse. A perverse tongue tries to turn others from the Light. A perverse tongue is stubborn and contrary. Malsheen also means deceit, which is smooth and oily. This lesson tells us more about why we need the Holy Ghost Tongues and Fire to purge our tongue.

Fallen Lucifer’s Devil nature is identified by the Hebrew word Malsheen. Malsheen means slanderer. To be a slanderer means to be a stammerer. Malsheen also means to be an informer, to be perverted and deceitful, and it means an accusing tongue. The carnal tongue is the Devil’s kingdom. Our tongue can be a Tree of Life if it is controlled by the Holy Ghost Tongues. Teachers and preachers must not use their tongues maliciously in the pulpit.
