We cannot go through the Door to the spiritual Marriage Chamber with our Big “I” of Idolatry. The Big “I” must be nailed to the Cross. We fight against fallen Lucifer’s full stature in four main dispensations. In the first level of warfare, Satan fights against us through Principalities. In the second dispensation of warfare, the Devil exhibits the Powers of Lucifer’s nature. In the third dispensation, the Serpent is over the Rulers of Darkness of this World. And, in the last dispensation of spiritual warfare, the Dragon wars against us through his Spiritual Wickedness in High Places. Learn More

This message completes the fourth main point on the Stature of Truth in Proverbs 9:10-12. This deals with Wisdom’s Instructions to her Guests. The guests are told the following things: (1) To fear the LORD is the beginning of Wisdom. (2) The Knowledge of the LORD’s Holy Name is the beginning of Understanding. [The Hebrew word for Holy is a masculine plural word; therefore, this is talking about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They all have “Holies.” “Holies” Name.] Learn More

(Missionary Night emphasis) Ecclesiastes 11:1 and Isaiah 55:11. We are admonished to go out and reach at least one person for Christ in 1997. God’s Word will not return to Him void. The lost are like fish, and we are to go fishing for them. Learn More

This message focuses on the third point on the Stature of Truth about Wisdom in Proverbs, chapter nine, which is Wisdom’s Instructions to her Servants. Her instructions include the following admonitions: (A) Reprove not a scorner, lest he give you shame, a blot, and hate (Proverbs 9:7,8); (B) Rebuke a wise man, and He will love you (Proverbs 9:8); (C) Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be wiser (Proverbs 9:9); and (D) Teach or “Learn” a Just or Holy Man, and he will increase in learning (Proverbs 9:9). Proverbs 9:1-12 gives the four points of the Stature of Truth concerning the Living, Feminine Torah-Wisdom: (I) Wisdom’s Provision for Those Who Follow Her; (II) Wisdom’s Invitation; (III) Wisdom’s Instructions to Her Servants; and (IV.) Wisdom’s Instructions to her Guests. This message emphasizes the first point, showing that Wisdom built a house for the Bride that was just like the House that God had built for the Word.

This is a continuation of the subject of Christ’s Scars and Wounds, with the emphasis being on His Wounds. In Romans 8:36, the Apostle Paul said that we are counted as sheep for the slaughter for Christ’s Sake. When we suffer for Christ’s Sake, His spiritual Wounds and Scars become our spiritual Drink and spiritual Bread. As we fellowship Christ’s Wounds and Scars, His Wounds and Scars swallow up the natural wounds and scars we experience mentally and emotionally, as well as physically, as we go through this life. The message explains the difference between wounds and scars. A wound is an injury or harm that has been done to the body or the tissue, which makes an opening in the body because something has broken or cut or pierced or penetrated or torn the body. A scar is a mark that is left, physically, on the skin or tissues of the body after a wound has healed. Learn More

In Revelation 3:14-18 is a command to anoint our eyes with eye-salve. The ground was cursed through Adam the First. The Second Adam, Jesus, removed the curse when He shed His Blood on the ground. His Blood sanctified the land, which included all the ground that man was made of. So, we have only to claim, by faith, what the LORD already has done for us — sanctified our ground that was cursed with thorns and briars. Learn More

(Mother’s Day) First Samuel 1:1-17. Elkanah had two wives. The only ministry of Peninnah, which means “provoker,” was to gouge or scar Hannah, whose name means “mercy.” Peninnah’s gouging or scars did not make Hannah retaliate; instead, she wept out of Love. Peninnah had many children or seeds, and seeds speak of works. But, Hannah was Elkanah’s “love,” so she had a love relationship with her husband, and her child, Samuel, was born out of Love. This continues the lesson on the second class of Scars, which fits with the Second Commandment: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Thorns speak of rejection. Our thorns of rejection prick us inwardly, and they prick others outwardly. Thorns cause weariness of mind. In the story of Jacob and Esau, in Genesis 27:42-46, Rebekah said, “I am weary [which is the word for thorns — koots] of life.”

This lesson introduces the second class of Scars, which Jesus received from the thorns in His Crown. This class of Scars fits with the Second Commandment: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” In Matthew 27:23-29, Jesus was crowned with thorns — a picture of how we prick ourselves and others with our inward and outward thorns.
