In the second dispensation of warfare, the Devil exhibits the Powers of Lucifer’s nature. In the third dispensation, the Serpent is over the Rulers of Darkness of this World. The only ministry of Peninnah, which means “provoker,” was to gouge or scar Hannah, whose name means “mercy.” Peninnah’s gouging or scars did not make Hannah retaliate; instead, she wept out of Love. Peninnah had many children or seeds, and seeds speak of works. But, Hannah was Elkanah’s “love,” so she had a love relationship with her husband, and her child, Samuel, was born out of Love.
