(Youth Convention)  The malefactors who hung on the east and west sides of Jesus Christ’s Cross represent the thing in us that breaks the Headship of the LORD. The thieves, who hung on the south and north sides, represent the thing in us that steals the Light and the Strength of the Word. They all died on their crosses. Only the malefactor on the east side embraced his cross and repented and got it changed to a blue cross that represents the revealed Word of God. And only he came up with new Resurrection Life.

This message emphasizes the first point of the Stature of Truth about Giving, which is the giving of tithes. Luke 6:38 shows how God rewards us for our giving. When we give our tithes, God gives us a good measure of His Wisdom. God waters the earth with natural water so that we might have corn and bread to eat, and He enriches our spiritual earth with the River of God that carries Seeds of Truth that cause us to grow and increase in the Spiritual Stature of Jesus Christ (Psalm 65:9). Sin produces guilt. When we sin, we have two choices. We either put our guilt on the Creator and let Him save us, or we put it on the creature. This lesson shows the downward stairway we take when our Big “I” judge takes over and puts our guilt on creatures — either on ourself or on others. First, we are angry with ourself. This message shows what happens when we put our guilt on Jesus, our Judge. We receive His Name. We receive joy or jubilee. We experience a joining. Then, when we have this joining with Jesus, the Judge, He begins to show us the root or cause of sin. We repent of the effect of sin at the Brazen Altar, in the Courtyard. (Ministerial Convention) Genesis 2:6,7. explains how God created man, in the beginning. Adam or Aw-dawm (as the name is pronounced in Hebrew) was made from the dust of the ground. Aw-dawm, whose name means to show blood in the face, to be red or rosy, had visible flesh and blood. Genesis 2:21-25 says that God put Adam to sleep and took a rib from him and, then, closed up the flesh instead, thereof.

(Ministerial Convention) Psalm 45 is a song about the Bridegroom and His Bride. Verses ten and eleven talk about the Wedding and the Queen. God calls the Bride His Daughter and tells her four things to do to join her desire to His Desire. She is to hearken; to consider; incline her ear; and forget her own people and her father’s house. (Ministerial Convention) God created man with an aw-vaw desire to lift up His Name. When this desire defected from God and became corrupted, it became known as lust. Numbers 11:4-34; Psalm 106:9-15; and First Corinthians 10:1-7 show the lust side of desire.

(Ministerial Convention) God intended that Israel, as His Bride, with Solomon as King, should be the hub of the nations, but Solomon, as an example of one who exerted his own desires, failed to reach the place God had purposed for him. Therefore, the Nation of Israel did not become the hub of all the nations of the world. In his lifetime, Solomon tried everything under the sun. When he was old, his heart was turned to worship the idols of his heathen wives, so he missed the best God had for him. Learn More

(Ministerial Convention) God created us with a aw-vaw desire that is like a candle. When this desire is sanctified and joined to the LORD’s Desire, we desire to lift up His Name in praise and worship. In addition to the aw-vaw desire, the LORD has created us with a desire to lift His Name up in the streets. This desire is identified by the Hebrew root word shook. In the Song of Solomon, chapter two, the Espoused Bridegroom asked His Espoused Bride to come away with Him to Mount Bether, the place of separation, so that she could know new heights of His Stature.

(Ministerial Convention) This message continues to deal with the second class of desire, the shook desire. The aw-vaw desire longs to lift up the LORD’s Name, and the shook desire longs for the Bridegroom and Bride Relationship. The Bride goes forth into the streets with an overflow of Light. In the Song of Solomon 7:1,10, the Bride got her thinking in the correct order. She said, “I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.” Psalm 65:9-11 speaks of the invisble River of God that waters or overflows (shook) the entire Earth.
