The beginning of the message is a review of the four colours in the Gate that typify the four classes of fear. Purple, the second colour, represents the Royal Ruling Fear of the LORD’s Understanding that causes us to understand that the LORD’s Nature is Good, Just, Pure, Lovely and that He gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him. This message deals especially with the third rung on Jacob’s Ladder. Learn More

(Employee Christmas Luncheon) Isaiah 9:6 says,“… and the government [empire] shall be upon his shoulder…” Christ is the Head over all the Empire (mis-raw). Mis-raw also means to have prevailing power with God; therefore, Christ is the Ruler over all because He has prevailed over Death, Hell, and the Grave. As the Head over ALL, He is the Head over us and all others and all situations. When Jacob (referred to in Hosea 12:1-4) wrestled with the Angel of the LORD he prevailed; thus he demonstrated the prevailing power he had over the Heavenly Angel and the earthly Esau or the Heavenly realm and the Earthly realm. If we keep choosing God’s Will, we will prevail, as Jacob did.

(New Year’s Eve Service) The LORD has said that 1998 is to be a year of growth and preparation for His Coming. Reverend Hicks saw a vision in which she saw us putting on our Shepherdess Robe which we must wear as we go out to help others get ready for the LORD’s Coming. Reverend Hicks also spoke about listening to a tape which told about someone who is said to have supernatural powers. The seven rungs on Jacob’s Ladder are represented by the seven pieces of furniture in the Mosaic Tabernacle. Therefore, the fourth rung is pictured by the Golden Candlestick. Before a single Book of the Bible was written, God told Moses to make a Candlestick with sixty-six bowls, knops, and flowers on it. Learn More

There is a difference between crucifixion and mortification. But if we do not understand the difference, then we cannot obey God’s Word that tells us that our old man is to be crucified (Romans 6:6) and that we are to mortify the deeds of the body (Romans 8:13). The Cross represents crucifixion. And when Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s Cross, two thieves and two malefactors were being crucified on four crosses surrounding His Cross. So there is one kind of crucifixion for the LORD, and there is another kind for us.

The fight from the beginning always has been over the LORD’s Name. Since the beginning and the end are the same, this is the fight today, also. To find out Who the Son is, we must have the Father reveal Him. Then, the Son reveals the Father. We overcome through dependence upon the LORD’s Name. When we got saved, we were in darkness. In comparison to the Stature of Light in our New Heart, we had a big stature of darkness. But, Jesus came to make up the difference between our small Light and the great darkness we fight. Daniel’s experience in chapters five and six of the Book of Daniel furnishes the example of the second place where we prove whether or not we have a Oneness of Relationship with the LORD. Daniel had an excellent spirit, which means that he was overflowing and remaining. He also had excellent or overflowing Wisdom. Although Daniel was Jewish, he help high political positions in the courts of four Gentile kings: Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus. Learn More

Our theme verse for 1998 is Matthew 1:21: “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” In the beginning of our spiritual journey, after we had repented, Jesus saved us from the Effect of Sin, which is Hell and Death. After we were saved, we worked in prayer and in the study of God’s Word, and we used the Blood, Fire, and Water that Jesus had given us to crucify and mortify our flesh. Learn More

In the beginning of our spiritual journey, we were saved from the Effect of sin by a Gift of Blood, Fire, and Water, which were received by faith when we called on the Name of Jesus. Then, we worked in the Holy Place of Jesus Christ’s Spiritual Stature to possess greater portions of our old heart. Now, in the end of our journey, we are being saved, again, by Gift, but this time we are being saved from the Cause of sin, which is our Midnight Will. Learn More

In our moral development, instead of blaming other people or situations or circumstances when something goes wrong, we should cry, “Jesus, save me!” By doing this, we can experience Salvation every moment of the day. Learn More

(Youth Convention) God’s Word tells us to crucify our flesh and to mortify our flesh. Therefore, it is important for us to understand that crucifixion of the flesh is what happens while one is living, whereas the mortification of the flesh is something that happens after death occurs.
