In the beginning of this lesson is a brief review of the three things in the Ber-eeth Covenant that God made with Noah. There was Life in the Covenant. There was a visible sign, token, or witness of the Covenant, and it was an Everlasting, Eternal Covenant.

(Youth Convention) This message shows the Principle of having to go down before we can come up. The downward stairway began with Noah and continued with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses (Exodus 2:24,25) and the Nation of Israel (Exodus 6:1-8). At the bottom of the stairway was where the LORD appeared to Moses in the midst of the thorn bush. Learn More

(This message is a continuation of the Downward and Upward Principle. When Israel went out of Egypt, she was carried upward on Eagle’s Wings (Exodus 19:4). In Exodus 19:5,6, God gave a Promise of the three things He would do IF Israel obeyed His Voice and kept His Commandments. Exodus 19:13-20 tells of the LORD God’s descent from Heaven to Mount Sinai. (California Convention) Ephesians 4:8-10 reveals the Principle of Humility before Exaltation. Jesus Christ demonstrated this Principle when He descended from Heaven to take on a Body of Flesh. Then, He descended to take on a crown of thorns and go to Calvary’s Cross where He was crucified. Finally, He descended into Death and Hell before He was resurrected and given a place of exaltation at the Right Hand of the Father. Learn More

(California Convention) The text for this sermon is Ephesians 4:11-13. The fullness or maturity of Christ’s Stature is the measure of perfection that believers must attain if they desire to be in the Christ’s Spiritual Bride. The pieces of furniture in the Old Testament Tabernacle was divided into three realms —Courtyard, Holy Place, and Holy of Holies — which were shadows and types of what these spiritual experiences are in our lives today. (California Convention) Ephesians 4:11-15 is the text of this message. God gave Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints. The Hebrew word for perfecting comes from the same root word as peace or shaw-lome. Peace is a powerful word, and it begins within. Shaw-lome means entire.

(California Convention) This lesson is about the Double Peace of God. We have peace when we get saved, but there is a peace of God that passes understanding. Peace means contentment, quietness, stillness, and tranquility. Two times in John 20:19-21, Jesus said, “Peace be unto you.” The first peace is peace from having one’s guilt of sin lifted by the Son’s Sacrifice. The second peace is from God the Father. The type and shadow of these two classes of peace are found in the Sin Offering Blood in the Old Testament and in the Gratitude or Thanks Offering. Learn More

This lesson continues with the Ber-eeth Covenant, which is the Father’s Covenant. It always has been in existence and has to do with Unity. All creation was in Unity in the Loins of God, and all will be in Unity, again, in the Perfect Age. The Bride is the Firstfruits of God’s creation to reach maturity or a Union with Jesus Christ. This means the rest of the harvest will ripen or mature also.

In Eternity-Past, we existed as Seeds in the Loins of God. In His Loins, we were placed in rows with “Freshening Pipes” around us. Each Seed supported the Seed above him, and all Seeds existed in Divine Unity and Harmony. The Bread on the Table of Shewbread was the visible type and shadow of this Unity and Harmony that existed among the Seeds in God’s Loins. The Table was also a type and shadow for the Bride of Jesus Christ to show how Bridal Seeds must reach this place of Unity and Harmony as each one supports the other, joining all “Bread” into One Bread. In the Twenty-Third Psalm, the LORD is revealed as the Shepherd-Physician, the Shepherd-Companion, the Shepherd-Chef, and the Shepherd-Anointer. First Samuel, chapter twenty-two, shows that when David fled from Saul and escaped to the cave Adullam, his brethren and all his father’s house followed him because they feared that Saul would take vengeance upon them if he could not find David. Luke 19:1-10 shows the following fourfold experience that Jesus had with Zacchaeus: (I) Jesus went to Jericho, a cursed city. (II) Jesus stopped at the very tree Zacchaeus had climbed. In Revelation, chapter twelve, John saw a Woman seated in the Heavenlies. She was clothed with the Glory of the Sun. On her head she wore a crown of twelve Stars, and the Moon was under her feet. The Woman who lives in the Heavenlies is the part of Christ’s Bride who travails the Manchild to birth. There is a travail on Earth in the Courtyard, in the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies. But, there also is a travail in the Heavenlies. It is called the Father’s Travail. Learn More
