Beneath his outward works, represented by his linen, he was naked. He had not been faithful to apply the Blood and Fire so that he would be clothed beneath his outer cloth of linen. Then, immediately, Peter’s headship rebuked Jesus which shows how we can be doing well, then, how quickly we can become a tool of Satan, when we still have the chaff of our own headship working in our life.
