WHY THE ROCKS WERE RENT AT JESUS’ DEATH — 2ND MESSAGE.....(SUN PM 10/18/2009)
The text of this message is in Matthew 27:27-54 and Exodus 17:2-7. Before Jesus Christ died on the Cross, the scene in the seventeenth chapter of Exodus literally happened, giving us a prophetic picture of the Power of the Father’s Water, which is full of Resurrection Power. Before Jesus Christ’s Blood was raised from the dead, the LORD pictured the Power of His Waters of Death through the scene on Mount Horeb. It was the Resurrection Power from the Waters of His Name that empowered and enabled Christ to go around and pick up every drop of His Blood. The LORD told Moses to stand upon the Rock and smite the Rock, which made a demonstration of when Jesus, the Man, entered into the Godhead. Never in the existence of Creation had God allowed a Man to come into the Godhead. Never had there been a Lawyer, an Advocate, to plead the case of mankind inside the Godhead. When Moses smote the Rock, there were twelve little stones or Rocks, tsoo-reem, that jumped out and followed along with the tsoor Rock.

Israel tempted God by saying, “[I]s the LORD among us, or not?” (Exodus 17:7). In other words, they were saying, “If He were among us, then this would not happen to us.” No, the reason it happened to them was because He was among them! And He wanted to show them His Name; He wanted to show them His Rivers of Love!
