SHARING JESUS’ COVERING GLORY-LOVE OR WHY JESUS IS THE HIGHEST NAME.....(SUN AM 10/4/2009)
Philippians 2:5-11 tells us why the LORD made Jesus the highest Name. Verse five says: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Christ Jesus went from being an aw-bad or owned servant to being the One with the highest Name. The word Elohim means plural Majesty in Hebrew. Genesis 1:1 says: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” So this Scripture is talking about the Godhead. Proverbs, the eighth chapter, says that the Father “truthed up” His Wisdom-Word; that is, He gave the Christ, the daw-bar Word, one layer after another of His Purposive Will and His Master Plan. It was the Godhead, plural Majesty, that created man.
Genesis 1:26 says: “And God [Elohim] said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” In God was One Image, but plurality—uniformity, but diversity. When Adam-male and Adam-female sinned, neither the Father-God nor the Mother-God nor Christ the Word could be the Saviour. So the Father said, in so many words, “I know what We will do, Son; I will send You down to Earth. I will send a Seed of Truth of the daw-bar Word. I will put it in a human vessel called a womb, and I will let You lay aside your Glory; You will leave it here in Heaven.”
Although Christ came down in a Seed Form, He actually was a mature Seed. But Christ, the Word that was “truthed up” at the Right Hand of God, could not be our Saviour. There was Jesus, ye-ho-shoo-ah, Who carries the three letters of the tetragrammaton, His Holy Name. Of course, one letter, the hay, is used twice in the Holy tetragrammaton, so there are only three Hebrew letters: a yod, a hay, and a vaw in His Name. They are all in ye-ho-shoo-ah. So there was a full Stature of Word and a little baby Jesus.
The Bible says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” (Luke 2:52). It does not say that Christ grew in Stature. Christ, the Divine Wisdom-Word, taught the Humanity of Jesus. When Christ got through with Him, after thirty years, He had an equal Stature of Humanity and Divinity. The Man, called Jesus, carried all the Humanity to the Cross; He understood every phase of suffering.
