Sermon 2835 - The Tsoor Rock, Hewn and Digged - 2nd Message....(Sun pm 9/20/2009)

THE TSOOR ROCK, HEWN AND DIGGED — 2ND MESSAGE.....(SUN PM 9/20/2009)
Isaiah 51:1, says: “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock [tsoor] whence ye are hewn [khaw-tsab, in Hebrew, means to split, to cut, to square], and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged [naw-kar, in Hebrew, means to bore, to penetrate, to quarry, to dig, to pick out, to pierce, to put or to thrust out]. ”We were hewn and digged out of the Rock of the LORD’s foursquare Name, His tetragrammaton. The LORD’s Name is a City. The Bible says that the Kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:21). This is our City. When man sinned in the Garden of Eden, Lucifer converted it into a City of Pride, with a Wall of Blasphemy, a Pleasant Sin Fort, a Fort of Midnight Darkness, and a Fort of Rebellion and Defiance. This is the Kingdom of God that Jesus came to Earth and died on the Cross to reclaim.

This foursquare City is in our lover heart. Everything about the Rock fits in one of the four Corners of His Name: the Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, or Prudence. When we are in the Son’s realm, we overcome through crucifixion of our flesh (II Corinthians 10:3-6). In the Father’s realm, we overcome by covering. The Rock is a Covering. All that comes out of the Rock—the Water, the Oil, and the Honey—is a Covering. It is not something we have to get. It belongs to the Father. It is something we only have to use. All we have to do is to acknowledge that the Vail or Covering is there. After asking the Father to cover us, we can start quoting Philippians 4:13 and Galatians 2:20. The Hebrew word for hewn, khaw-tsab, means to cut out, to divide, to engrave, to embroidery. Some of the High Priest’s garments were embroidered.
