NATURAL AND SPIRITUAL EARTHQUAKES — 1ST MESSAGE.....((FRI PM 4/18/2008)
In the Son’s realm, in Time, everything moves one step at a time. The Father’s realm is called Eternity or Space without form, and in the Father’s world, everything happens instantly and simultaneously. When everything is rolling and spinning at one time, we have a hard time understanding this principle. So when we encounter the fierce, mad shad-eem devils around the noonday Brightness of the Sun of Righteousness, we become confused. Matthew 24:7-9 tells us that there will be wars and famines and pestilences and earthquakes in the last days. These are the beginning of sorrows. The Hebrew word for earthquake means vibrations, shaking, uproar, commotion, confusion.

God uses earthquakes in the natural realm and in the spiritual realm to help us fall down before His Eyes of Glory. We cannot lean on the creation, for it changes from moment to moment. We can depend only on Jesus Christ and His Heavenly Father to remain unchanged. God gave Adam the First dominion over all creation, but Adam-male and Adam-female let Leviathan walk in and take dominion over their dominion. The Second Adam, the LORD Jesus Christ, has all dominion naturally and spiritually, and He is in us.  We need to remember who we are in Christ and what our spiritual inheritance in Christ is.

First Kings 19:9-12 shows an example of how the LORD works. The Word, the Christ, came to Elijah and told him to go stand upon the mount before the LORD, His Father. There was a strong wind and then an earthquake and then a fire. But the LORD was not in the wind or the earthquake or the fire. Then there was a still small voice. So the wind and the earthquake and the fire werejust heralds to welcome the LORD, Who spoke in a still small voice. Paul and Silas experienced these things in the spiritual realm when they were cast into prison in the sixteenth chapter of Acts.They were singing at midnight when the LORD sent an earthquake that loosed the bonds and opened the doors of all the prisoners. The keeper of the prison was about to kill himself. Then a voice went forth; the Apostle Paul cried out, telling him to do himself no harm.
