Sermon 1672 - Parable of the Sower - 5th Message…..(Fri pm 9/4/98)

STONY GROUND

This message continues to deal with the Parable of the Sower, recorded in the thirteenth chapter of the Matthew. The Sower sowed Seeds in four classes of ground: wayside soil, stony ground thorny ground, and good ground.

The wayside soil relates to our Lover Heart that has been a well trodden way from Eternity-Past when the Father and the Son walked up and down and to and fro in it, sowing Seeds of Truth there. God sows Seeds in our wayside soil, now, to see if we will choose in this world what we chose in Eternity-Past.
