THE TEN CLASSES OF SCARS THAT JESUS BORE FOR MAN - 1ST MESSAGE.....(FRI PM 4/18/97)

The Communion message on Tape/Notes #1523 introduced the subject of the Wounds or Scars that Jesus bore in man’s behalf. His ten classes of Scars fit with the Ten Commandments. Jesus’ Scars mend the Law which man broke. In First Corinthians11:23-33, we are commanded to discern the Lord’s Body or His Scars. Matthew 27:25,26 gives the first class of Scars Jesus received when He was scourged, which means to lash. The Hebrew word for scourged has two main meanings: to detrude,and to be a derelic.
