FIGHTING THE KHAHYAW BEASTS IN THIS WORLD — 2ND MESSAGE (1996 YOUTH CONVENTION).....(THU PM 8/1/96)
Mark 1:12,13. This lesson tells us who the beasts were that Jesus fought, after the Spirit drove Him into the Wilderness. The Word for Beasts in Hebrew is khahyaw. Ezekiel 1:13 shows us where these beasts originally came from. They were formerly female angels or cherubim on God’sThrone Chariot. The four khahyaw beasts in Daniel, chapter 7, which Jesus fought, and which we have to fight, are as follows: (1) Lion (2) Bear (3) Leopard and (4) Iron. These beasts pictured the world kingdoms of Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, and Rome, and they depict the natures of these kingdoms, which are as follows: Lion — Autocratic nature, Bear — nature of Absolutism, Leopard — nature of Ambition, Iron— nature of Aggression. We have these natures to fight in our flesh.
