HERESIES — 3RD MESSAGE…..(WED PM 10/25/95) Idolatry, Pharaoh. We become immovable in our midnight will when we let the LORD melt the frozen images of idolatry in our midnight will, purify the stream, and, then, refreeze it with images of Truth. The second point on the stature of heresies is the Name of the LORD. Psalm 8:18-23 shows that the Powerful Name of the LORD defeats the enemy of heresies within us. Isaiah 30:12-15 shows that when Israel made an alliance with Egypt, she made a breach or gap between her and God. We also create a breach between us and God when we make an alliance with our flesh. Jeremiah 46:1-8 shows that the LORD’s Name is powerful against the Egyptian in us. Quietness and confidence in God is the answer in our trials, not using the enemies in our flesh to war in situations. We tie God’s Hands so that He cannot move in our behalf.
