Sorcery has two sides. One Hebrew word for sorcery is kaw-shaf, meaning to whisper, practice magic; another Hebrew word for sorcery is aw-nam, meaning storm or thunder clouds. In Deuteronomy 18:9-11, God commanded Israel not to learn sorcery ( kaw-shaf ) . Malachi 3:5,6 tells of God's Judgment of those who continue to practice sorcery after they have been forbidden to do it.
