AMALEK.....(FRI PM 5/19/1995)
Abraham was the Father of the Bride. Genesis 14:7 shows that the Amalekites fought against God’s natural Bride, the Nation of Israel. Amalek signifies that inferiority pride within us that is the most vicious against God and against each other.

Abraham’s grandson Esau was the father of the Amalekites (Genesis 36:10-16). In Exodus 17:8-16, Israel is seen prevailing against Amalek through lifting up the LORD’s Name. Numbers 24:18-20 reveals that Amalek was the first nation to fight against the Bride.

In Deuteronomy 25:17-19, Israel was commanded to blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under Heaven. First Samuel 15:2-33 shows that Saul did not utterly destroy Amalek; he saved King Agag. Esther 3:1 reveals that Haman was an Agagite, showing that others suffer because of our bad choices
