Quick Overview

The whole world revolves around the prideful little god syndrome, the little prideful “I, Me, My, and Mine.”  When we are angry and unforgiving, and bitter, it all goes back to this “I, Me, My, and Mine” syndrome.

MY,  I,  ME, MINE IN PSALM 23 — 3RD MESSAGE.....(SUN PM 4/30/1995)
The whole world revolves around the prideful little god syndrome, the little prideful “I, Me, My, and Mine.”  When we are angry and unforgiving, and bitter, it all goes back to this “I, Me, My, and Mine” syndrome.

In Philippians 3:13,14, the Apostle Paul said that he forgot the things which were behind, and he pressed toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. He was talking about apprehending the prize of being in the Bride. There are just two things we have to know how to do. We have to know how to forget, and we have to know how to press. To press means that we push out and squeeze out everything that gets between us and our vision of Jesus.

This message reviews the Stature of Truth about the “My” in Psalm 23, and it deals with the first three of seven “Me’s” in this Psalm.

(1) He makes me lie down in green pastures.
(2) He leads me beside still waters, matrimonial, espousal waters.
(3) He leads me in paths of righteousness by pushing and driving me forth as an espoused wife.
