DEDICATING CHILDREN.....(SUN AM 3/20/1994)
(Baby Dedication) The following Stature of Truth in Matthew 19:13-15 shows the reason for dedicating babies to the LORD. The first point shows the faith of those who brought the children. They had faith that Jesus would touch them and that they would be dedicated and consecrated and sanctified and separated unto the LORD. The second point shows the opposition that came from within, from the Disciples. Point number three shows what Jesus said: “[S]uffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me….”The message explains the meaning of the Hebrew word for suffer and how it relates to the Glory. And point number four shows the blessing of rest that He put upon them.
