AWAKE AND WHATSOEVER — 1ST MESSAGE......(TUE PM 3/14/1995)
(Ministerial Convention) The theme of this convention is Awake and Arise as we are admonished to do in Ephesians 5:11-19. And what is said in verse 13 is emphasized: “But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.”

We do not know the pride and the unforgiveness and other unChrist-like attitudes we have until God allows a “whatsoever” to come along and shines the Light that makes manifest what is in us. This message also discusses the importance of redeeming the time. Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, gave His all, and we can give our all to Him all the time by taking the Word with us wherever we go. Ephesians 6:13 tells us to put on the whole armour of God so that we can withstand or arise and perform in the evil day before the coming of the LORD. In Judges 5:12, Deborah, who was a judge in Israel, gave a full stature of Awakes before she told Barak to Arise and lead captivity captive.
