PARABLE OF THE SOWER — 1ST MESSAGE.....(SUN AM 8/16/98)

The Parable of the Sower, recorded in the thirteenth chapter of Matthew, is relevant to us and to Joseph. Four types of soil are mentioned in this Parable: wayside soil; stony soil; thorny soil; and good soil. This message emphasizes the wayside soil.

Since wayside soil relates to our Lover Mind, which is one of our sixteen minds, a brief review is given to show where this Mind fits in relation to the vertical pillar and the horizontal beam of the mental wheel of our being.

In the beginning, our Lover Mind was on the upright pillar in our soul. In Eternity-Past, God gave us ninety percent of our spiritual education in our Lover Heart, leaving ten percent to be learned in this life. God has put a seal over the ninety percent so that we do not remember it consciously, now. The Holy Ghost comes to lead and guide us into all Truth, which includes the Seeds of God’s Word that He gave us in our Lover Heart in Eternity-Past.
