GROWING UP IN GOD.....(SUN PM 7/19/98)

Ephesians 4:11-13 reveals that we are to grow to the measure of the Stature of the Fullness of Christ. The spiritual experiences of growth in Christ’s Stature are pictured in the Mosaic Tabernacle, which was laid out in the form of a Cross. This message explains how the three divisions in the Mosaic Tabernacle relate to the thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and hundredfold fruitfulness of believers. It also tells why God had the children of Israel place a pot of Manna in the Ark. At Kadesh-barnea, Israel disobeyed the LORD’s Command to go in an possess Canaan’s Land, so God let them wander around in the wilderness, in a circle, for forty years. The difference in having Christ in us and our being in Christ, as Paul said in Second Corinthians 5:17, is explained here.
