FOUR WAYS THE LORD DELIVERS - 3RD MESSAGE.....(SUN PM 6/14/98)

This message is a continuation of the Stature of Truth that shows the four ways the LORD delivers His children. First, the LORD delivers us by building a fence around us to protect us from outward enemies. The word for fence means to cover, to veil, to protect by covering over with a veil or the cloud of His Name.

Next, when we are being held captive by Lucifer’s hand, the LORD delivers us by snatching us out of his hand to prove that His Power is greater than Lucifer’s power. Job is an example of this class of deliverance.

God allows us to be tested and tried so that our flesh can be exposed. When we are in the midst of suffering, we go through four phases of spiritual growth. First, we ask why. After we have learned that the LORD is the Head of our suffering, we ask how long the suffering is going to continue. When we surrender our will, we have peace, but we can be surrendered and still not be delighting in the LORD’s Will. When we reach the place of delight, we have overflowing joy and ecstasy.
