Quick Overview

The beginning of the message is a reminder of why we study all Scripture. Second Timothy 3:16,17 says that all Scripture is profitable to us. God gives His Word so that we can be knowledgeable of His Doctrine, which is His Moral Principles of Truth, and so that we can be reproved and told where we are missing it, and so that we can be corrected. His Word gives us instruction in righteousness so that we can go forth and do deeds of righteousness according to His Master Plan and Purposive Will.

HOW THE TEN COMMANDMENTS FIT WITH THE LORD’S PRAYER - 3RD MESSAGE.....(SUN AM 5/31/98)

The main part of the message was a demonstration showing how the LORD delivered the children of Israel from the Egyptians at the Red Sea. In Exodus20:1,2, God spoke to Israel, saying, “I am the LORD thy God which brought thee out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” There are two Hebrew words for the expression “I am.” The word anee refers to a speaker who is at a distance from the audience. The word awnokee refers to a speaker who is near.
