HOW THE TEN COMMANDMENTS FIT WITH THE LORD’S PRAYER - 1ST MESSAGE.....(SUN AM 5/17/98)

When the LORD Jesus Christ taught His Disciples to pray, He simply taught them to pray according to the Ten Commandments. In Matthew 6:9, the phrase “Our Father which art in Heaven” fits with the First Commandment: “I am the LORD thy God.” There are two Hebrew words for “I AM,” —anee and awnokee. Anee means the Speaker, the Source, and awnokee is used when describing the Union of the Speaker with the person. On one side of the Scales, the LORD God is the Ruler over all the universes; on the other side of the Scales, He cares for each of us individually.
