SIXTEEN DESIRES - 7TH MESSAGE......(TUE PM 4/14/98)

(Tampico, Mexico Convention) This Convention continued on the subject of our desire. We must reach Spiritual Mount Zion in our spiritual journey, and, there, find out if we want or desire only the Name of the LORD. Mount Zion is a dry place, a barren place where there is only the LORD’s Name — no creature or creation is there — just the LORD.

When we can be satisfied with only the Name, we are ready to go to the New City, for only God and the Lamb are there. We already have this desire for the Name; it is the number one desire that God put within man when He created him, but sin turned that desire around, and our face turned away from God.

God gave us sixteen different desires, so it is not that we do not have a desire for Him, it is just that it is turned around backwards.

The second desire God gave us was a desire for His Word and a Oneness of Relationship with Him. We will have this Oneness of Relationship with the LORD in the Perfect Age (Ephesians 1:10). The third desire God gave us was to Know the Humility Knowledge and Power of the LORD’s Name.
