SIXTEEN CLASSES OF LOVE IN FIRST CORINTHIANS, CHAPTER THIRTEEN — 1ST MESSAGE.....(SUN AM 3/29/98)
This message explains the significance of the two Hebrew words for w o rd. Aw-mar pertains to God’s Word that we understand. Daw-bar relates to God’s Word that we do not understand. First John 2:5 says, “But whoso keepeth his word [daw-bar], in him verily is the love of God perfected:…” We do not get God’s Love by obeying Word we understand. His Love comes from His Daw-bar Word that we keep in our heart. In Romans 5:5, the Apostle Paul said, “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” When we are full of the Holy Ghost, He lights on God’s Daw-bar Word in our heart. Then, when we are around others, we are able to minister His Love to them, just as God ministers His Love to us through His Son Jesus Christ.
