OLD TESTAMENT TABERNACLE......(FRI PM 3/27/98)

The text of this message is taken from Exodus, chapter forty, which shows the order in which God commanded Moses to place the furniture in the first Tabernacle. The chapter also shows the origin of the Star of David, which is the Seal of the Bridal Nation of Israel. The LORD established His Headship by having Moses put the Ark of the Testimony in place first, on the west side. From there, he went down to the north side and put in the Table of Shewbread, which represents the Strength of His Word. Then, he went down to the south side and put in the Golden Candlestick, which represents the Light of His Word. After drawing out the two descending bars of the exalted triangle, he set the Altar of Incense in place between the Table and the Candlestick. The Altar of Incense joined the two pieces of furniture in the Holy Place and formed the horizontal bar of the Cross as well as the third bar of the exalted triangle of the Star of David.

Next, he went out into the Courtyard and established the fourth cardinal point of the compass by putting the Brazen Altar at the door of the Tabernacle on the east side. Between the Brazen Altar and the Altar of Incense was the Brazen Laver, which joined all the pieces of furniture on the vertical bar of the Cross. The three bars of the humility triangle in the Courtyard were formed by the blood, Fire, and Water found at these pieces of furniture.
