Quick Overview

(Ministerial Convention) God created us with a aw-vaw desire that is like a candle. When this desire is sanctified and joined to the LORD’s Desire, we desire to lift up His Name in praise and worship. In addition to the aw-vaw desire, the LORD has created us with a desire to lift His Name up in the streets. This desire is identified by the Hebrew root word shook. In the Song of Solomon, chapter two, the Espoused Bridegroom asked His Espoused Bride to come away with Him to Mount Bether, the place of separation, so that she could know new heights of His Stature.

SIXTEEN DESIRES - 5TH MESSAGE......(THU PM 3/12/98)

(Ministerial Convention) God created us with a aw-vaw desire that is like a candle. When this desire is sanctified and joined to the LORD’s Desire, we desire to lift up His Name in praise and worship. In addition to the aw-vaw desire, the LORD has created us with a desire to lift His Name up in the streets. This desire is identified by the Hebrew root word shook.

In the Song of Solomon, chapter two, the Espoused Bridegroom asked His Espoused Bride to come away with Him to Mount Bether, the place of separation, so that she could know new heights of His Stature. When she did not go immediately, the Espoused Bridegroom went on to Mount Bether without her.

In chapter three, verses one and two, the Espoused Bride started looking for the One Whom her soul loved. By night on her bed, in the place of ease, she sought Him, but she did not find Him. Then, her desire for Him caused her to arise and go out into the streets. The Hebrew word for streets is shook .When our shook desire is sanctified, along with our aw-vaw desire, there is an overflowing Light that shines out to bless and draw others to our Bridegroom, just as the LORD’s Omnipresent Light shined out and blessed the crops when the children of Israel brought their firstfruits to Him. The Bride in the New City is the Firstfruits unto God and the Lamb, and giving of firstfruits is a guarantee that the rest of the crop will be blessed and will get ripe.
