SIXTEEN DESIRES - 3RD MESSAGE......(WED PM 3/11/98)

(Ministerial Convention) God created man with an aw-vaw desire to lift up His Name. When this desire defected from God and became corrupted, it became known as lust. Numbers 11:4-34; Psalm 106:9-15; and First Corinthians 10:1-7 show the lust side of desire. When the children of Israel lusted for flesh, God gave them quail, and the fattest of them died while the meat was still in their teeth. God sent the plague because they had not trusted Him to provide a table for them in the wilderness; they had not thanked Him for His provision of meat; and they had not given their tithes, firstfruits, offerings, and alms to Him.
