SIXTEEN DESIRES - 2ND MESSAGE......(WED AM 3/11/98)
(Ministerial Convention) Psalm 45 is a song about the Bridegroom and His Bride. Verses ten and eleven talk about the Wedding and the Queen. God calls the Bride His Daughter and tells her four things to do to join her desire to His Desire. She is to hearken; to consider; incline her ear; and forget her own people and her father’s house.
The Bride was to hearken to her parental teaching; she was to consider or understand what she had been taught; she was to make her ears like baskets to catch the Seeds of Truth from God’s Word.
(Reverend Hicks gave several personal examples of times when she has hearkened to the bidding of the Spirit and interceded and travailed for God’s Will when she did not know what the Spirit was travailing to birth. One time she had the experience of seeing the Bridal Mountain the LORD had for her to climb. One time she travailed for the birth oft he Church in India, which did not come to pass until fifteen years later. One time, when she was in Mexico, she received the gift of prophecy.)
