Sermon 1599 - Four Classes of Fear - 4th Message…..(Fri am 11/7/97)

(Mexico Convention) A brief review of the first and second classes of Fear was given in this lesson. Abraham is the example of the progressive growth of the Blue Fear of the LORD’s Headship and Master Plan in regard to the Promised Seed.

Jacob is the example of the Purple Fear, which caused him to fear the LORD’s Ruling and Reigning Understanding. Walking by the revelation that was given to his mother, Rebekah, Jacob left home, with only his staff with the LORD’s Name on it. On his way to Mesopotamia, he had a vision of a Ladder that reached from Earth to Heaven. The LORD was at the top of the Ladder, and Angels were ascending and descending on it. These ascending and descending Angels stayed with Jacob while he was in Mesopotamia and lifted him up and helped him to bear the hard things he endured during the twenty years he worked for his Uncle Laban.

Jacob did not know when he was looking at the Ladder, with the LORD at the top and the Angels ascending and descending on it, how God was going to use him to beget a tremendous Bridal Seed from the National Family Tree that he was going over in Mesopotamia to beget.
