HOW GOD’S WORD IS MAGNIFIED ABOVE HIS NAME......(SUN PM 9/18/66)

Psalm 138:1,2 says that God has magnified His Word above His Name. This message tells how He does this.

In Revelation 21:22, we find the Names that will be in the New City: Lord; Almighty; God; and Lamb. The Name of Jehovah — which is identified in the English translation by the Name LORD, spelled in capital letters — will not be in the New City. The Name LORD means the Self-Existent One Who Reveals Himself. This Name will not be in the New City because, in the Perfect Age, nothing will be hidden from the Bride. She will be One with God. Every time He thinks a thought, she will be One with that thought. Every time He creates something, she will be One with Him.

When God said that He magnified His Word above His Name, He was referring to the Perfect Age, when the Bride will be in the New City. The Apostle John saw a great and high Wall around the City. This is a Living Wall of Truth that grows from a Seed; after a while, it becomes a mighty Wall that protects His Names inside the City. God magnifies His Word above His Name, not because He has given the Word a higher place, but because the Word is a hiding place for His Name or Nature. God hides His Name inside His Word.
