THE BREAD AND BLOOD FOR OUR MINDS......(SUN AM 10/19/97)

(Communion Service) The text is I Corinthians 11:23-33. Judas betrayed the LORD Jesus Christ because he apostatized and let his Moo-sawr Mind, the Instructor Mind in his body, turn backward. Our Zaw-kar Mind, our Marker Mind in our soul, is the memory cabinet in which we store our treasures, both good and evil. The main emphasis of the lesson is on the four minds of our body. We are told to examine ourself, our Nephesh or Chooser Mind in our soul, before we partake of the Bread and Blood of the LORD Jesus Christ. When our Keh-reb or Blesser Mind is in its right place — on the vertical pillar of the soul — all our other minds function correctly. After we partake of the LORD’s Broken Body, we have to come together and let the Bread become One Bread. By becoming One Bread, as it were, one barley cake, Gideon and his little army of 300 untrained and unarmed men overcame the great army of the Assyrians.
