THE ARK OF THE TESTIMONY AND THE ARK OF THE COVENANT — 5TH MESSAGE......(SUN PM 9/21/97)

This message focuses on Israel’s first three experiences in Canaan’s Land which were Circumcision, the Passover, and the eating of Manna and Corn joined together.

When Jacob was wrestling with the Angel of the LORD, he kept his feet on the ground of Canaan’s Land because he knew he would inherit through his feet. The reason God crippled Jacob when he was going to meet Esau is also explained. At the Passover, Israel ate the lamb and the Manna joined to the corn. The Manna was Humility Bread from above; the Corn was Exalted Bread from below. The Hebrew word for corn means to “cross over.” The significance of “crossing over” is explained.
