JESUS’ EXPERIENCE WITH ZACCHAEUS......(WED PM 8/27/97)

Luke 19:1-10 shows the following fourfold experience that Jesus had with Zacchaeus: (I) Jesus went to Jericho, a cursed city. (II) Jesus stopped at the very tree Zacchaeus had climbed. At this point, Zacchaeus also had a fourfold experience. (A) He sought Jesus. (B) He ran ahead of the crowd. (C) He climbed a tree. And, (D) He waited for Jesus to come by. (III) Jesus experienced Opposition when He told Zacchaeus He was going to His House. (IV) Jesus Went to Zacchaeus’ House, and Zacchaeus experienced Salvation.
