BRIDAL WRESTLING — 7TH MESSAGE.....(THU PM 7/3/97)

TREES OF LIFE ("I AM") AND DEATH ("I")

(International Summer Convention). This lesson continues the study of spiritual wickedness in high places. It deals specifically with vexing female devils. Luke 13:10-16 tells the story of the woman who had been bound by a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. Jesus had to deliver her from the vexing spirit before she could stand upright to praise and worship the LORD.

Every time Jesus manifested Himself as the Tree of Life, He encountered opposition. We, too, encounter opposition from fallen Lucifer’s forces whenever we start to go on for God. When there is an outward situation or an inner problem, God simply wants us to submit our Big “I” of Idolatry, on one side of the Scales. And, on the other side of the Scales, He wants us to speak the Truth and lift up His Name. Each situation and each problem gives us an opportunity to stand in our personal “pulpit” and lift up the Name of the LORD and thank Him for His Headship. It also is an opportunity for us to stand in our “pulpit” and preach the Truth to the evil spirit, and to testify to the good Angels and those who have gone on before us..
