TREES OF LIFE ("I AM") AND DEATH ("I")

(International Summer Convention). This lesson shows that we have enemies to fight from within and from without. The Gentile kingdoms in the Book of Daniel are a picture of the inward enemy kingdoms in our carnal flesh. The beastly nature of the Kingdom of Babylon was depicted by a lion, which represents the Autocratic Kingdom of our flesh. A bear portrayed the Kingdom of the Medes and Persians, which represents our fleshly Kingdom of Absolutism. A leopard pictured the Kingdom of Greece, which represents our fleshly Kingdom of Ambition. And, the Kingdom of Rome was seen as an iron beast, without a heart. The ironlike nature of our Kingdom of Aggression is ruled by the Old Fool.
