WRESTLING — 1ST MESSAGE.....(SUN AM 6/1/97)

This message is the beginning of a series of messages that deals with spiritual warfare against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:10-12).

These four realms of warfare require that we fight against fallen Lucifer’s name or nature: Satan, Devil, Serpent, Dragon.

Spiritual wickedness in high places is the highest realm of spiritual warfare because we must fight the Dragon’s nature. It is important to know when the battle is without and when the problem is within our own fleshly heart. In order for us to go through the door of the LORD’s “I am the LORD thy God,” our idolatrous Big “I” must stay outside.

If we do something under our own headship, even a right thing, we grieve God’s Spirit because we have not done it under His Headship. It is not enough to get the Mind of God to do something; we must also wait on Him until He reveals how He wants the thing to be done.
