Quick Overview

This is a continuation of the subject of Christ’s Scars and Wounds, with the emphasis being on His Wounds. In Romans 8:36, the Apostle Paul said that we are counted as sheep for the slaughter for Christ’s Sake. When we suffer for Christ’s Sake, His spiritual Wounds and Scars become our spiritual Drink and spiritual Bread. As we fellowship Christ’s Wounds and Scars, His Wounds and Scars swallow up the natural wounds and scars we experience mentally and emotionally, as well as physically, as we go through this life.

TEN CLASSES OF SCARS THAT JESUS BORE FOR MAN — 8TH MESSAGE.....(FRI PM 5/16/97)

This is a continuation of the subject of Christ’s Scars and Wounds, with the emphasis being on His Wounds. In Romans 8:36, the Apostle Paul said that we are counted as sheep for the slaughter for Christ’s Sake.

When we suffer for Christ’s Sake, His spiritual Wounds and Scars become our spiritual Drink and spiritual Bread. As we fellowship Christ’s Wounds and Scars, His Wounds and Scars swallow up the natural wounds and scars we experience mentally and emotionally, as well as physically, as we go through this life.

In Matthew 22:2-6, Jesus told a Parable in which the Kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a certain king who made a marriage feast for his son. In this Parable, the Slain Lamb was personified as the ox and the fatlings on the table. He will be the Meat on the Table the Marriage Feast. If we are repulsed by the Slain Lamb, now, we will not fit in the New City. Revelation19:7 says, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Christ’s Bride will fall in love with the Slain Lamb and will take His Scars and His Wounds and let Him swallow up her earthly scars and wounds so that she might have Eternal Scars, Eternal Bread, and Eternal Drink of Light and Life and Love. Some who were invited to the Marriage Feast of the Lamb rejected the invitation, including John the Baptist who twice had a vision of the Slain Lamb and twice cried “Behold the Lamb of God."
