THE FOUR POSITIONS IN WHICH ISRAEL STOOD WHEN RECEIVING THE TORAH AT MOUNT SINAI — 2ND MESSAGE.....(TUE PM 4/1/97)

(Tampico, Mexico Convention) Only the first position in which Israel stood to receive the Torah was mentioned. Exodus 19:17 says that Israel stood at the nether part of the mount. The Hebrew word for nether (takh-tee) means the lowest place or position. It also means a womb for Seed, for Life.

Other Scriptures were given to show the importance of taking this low position, the nether part, spiritually. The Psalmist said in Psalm 66:17 that the LORD was extolled with his tongue. He was saying, in so many words, that in the womb of his tongue was the LORD’s Name lifted up and praised.
