THE BOOK OF MALACHI - 2ND MESSAGE.....(WED DAY 3/12/97)

(Ministerial Convention) This lesson reviews the Principles of the LORD’s Name being in Front and in Back. Israel went out of Egypt with the Name of the Unbegotten Father in the Cloud and Fire, in front of them, leading them. When they reached the Red Sea, the Cloud and Fire went behind to protect them from Pharaoh and his army.

On the Day of Atonement, two goats were used to portray the dual ministry of the LORD Jesus Christ. One goat was slain and its blood was carried into the Holy of Holies and put upon the Ark which held the broken Law. This blood, which was before the LORD’s Face, ministered to the Offended One Whose Torah-Law had been broken.

The second goat was called the scapegoat, and it represented the Resurrected Blood of Jesus Christ. The scapegoat was led by a fit man (an eesh man or fire man) into the wildness, or in other words, behind God’s Back. Animal blood could only cover man’s sin for a period of one year. But, now, there is, in the Sea of Forgetfulness, Jesus Christ’s Resurrected Blood that has Power to take away man’s iniquities, transgressions, sins, and trespasses.
