FIRSTBORN - 4TH MESSAGE.....(FRI PM 12/27/96)

This lesson gives a brief review of the Stature of Truth about the Firstborn: Jesus Christ is the Firstborn among many brethren.He is the Firstborn of many creatures. He is the Firstborn of the Dead. And, He is the Firstborn of the Church.

Under the first point of the Stature of the Firstborn is the Stairway of Justification, which has eight steps. On the first step, the Blood justifies us from the penalty of sin, which is Death and Hell. On the second step, Christ’s Grace justifies us from our feelings of guilt that we have because of past sins. On the third step, the Light of Truth from the Resurrected Christ justifies us and lifts us up out of the place of darkness and death.
