THE BEAUTIFUL FEET OF THOSE WHO PREACH THE GOSPEL…..(FRI PM 10/11/96)

(Training Convention, Teacher Dedication) This service was the dedication of the teachers for the coming year. Reverend Hicks spoke briefly on Romans10:15, which describes the feet of those who preach the Gospel. First we are to preach the Gospel of Peace, whose purpose is reconciliation to God and to man. We must find peace with God’s Headship and His Master Plan and Purposive Will in our life. Disquietment in our soul over God’s Master Plan and Purposive Will for our life is the door through which we leave the Crucified Way.

The second thing we are to do is bring glad tidings of good things. We are to walk with those we are leading, and we are to study and know more than those we are teaching. In our spiritual education we preach reconciliation; in our moral development, we go forth to show, by our footsteps, that we are following Jesus..
