LUCIFER'S DEVIL NATURE, CONT'D

We must determine “whose report we will believe” — the LORD’s or the Devil’s. The Devil’s tongue lies. Another meaning of Malsheen, the Devil’s name, is perverse. A perverse tongue tries to turn others from the Light. A perverse tongue is stubborn and contrary. Malsheen also means deceit, which is smooth and oily. This lesson tells us more about why we need the Holy Ghost Tongues and Fire to purge our tongue. The Devil is the “tongue” part of Lucifer. Our tongue is purged by Holy Ghost Tongues and Fire in two ways: (1) by bridling it — James 1:26,27, and (2) by refraining it — I Peter 3:8-10. A refrained tongue becomes the “treasurer” of our heart to speak no guile — only blessing.
