This was a question about Mark 7:21-23. Since we already are defiled within (as noted by verses 21 and 22), why does verse 23 say that “all these evil things come from within and defile man”? It seems as if there is a double defilement. In answering this question, Reverend Hicks went through all sixteen minds, giving the sinful order and the perfect order.
