TRAVAIL — 2ND MESSAGE…..(FRI PM 12/29/95)
There are two sides to the Father’s Travail: (1) the Son of God side is identified by the Hebrew word khool, meaning to twist, to whirl in a circular motion, to wait patiently, to trust. The Son of God was travailed to birth patiently. In Galatians 4:19, the Apostle Paul said that he travailed, again, that Christ might be formed in the hearts of the believers. The word wait in Acts 1:4 is the Hebrew word khoolor travail. (2) the Son of Man side is identified by the Hebrew word yaw-lad, meaning to bring forth, to bright to birth, beget, originate. I Peter 1:23 shows that being born again is a continual process.
