BEING A HANDMAIDEN…..(SUN PM 10/15/95) There are two sides to being a handmaiden of the LORD: the humility-servant or handmaiden serves the Crucified Christ in the low place; the exalted-servant or handmaiden serves the Resurrected Christ in the high place. Ruth, Hannah, and Abigail served as exam­ples of handmaidens on both sides of the Scales.
