SEEDS, SHAKH-ATH PIT — 4TH MESSAGE.....(FRI PM 4/14/1995)
(Good Friday) The message begins by explaining why the earth was cast into three different pits—the shakh-ath pit, the bore pit, and the teh-home pit. God created the earth—the first earth, the only earth—in the beginning. He created it the first time; then He restored it every time after that. Each time God lifted the earth up out of a pit, He created a new world of inhabitants to live on it.

We are now living in the fourth creation. Isaiah 53:1-3 reveals a stature of Truth that shows the contempt that our LORD has suffered from man.

(I.) Verse one shows the contempt poured on God’s Word, on Christ, the Living Word.
(II.) Verse two shows the contempt for His Human form.
(III.) Verse three shows the contempt for His sufferings.
(IV.) Verse three also shows the contempt for His value.

The message also shows various Scriptures in the New Testament where the Hebrew word for the shakh-ath Pit is translated as corrupt. First Corinthians 15:33 speaks of corrupt good manners. Ephesians 4:22 speaks of the corrupt old man. First Timothy 6:1-5 speaks of the corrupt mind. Second Timothy 3:1-8 says that the corrupt mind leads to a reprobate mind. Jude 1:8-10 speaks of those who corrupt themselves. Revelation 19:1,2 says that old Jerusalem corrupts the earth with her fornication. And Luke 6:43,44 tells of corrupt fruit from a corrupt tree.
